Scandix käännökset Oy – översättningar Ab is a translation firm based in Turku that specialises in providing quality Swedish and English text translations. Scandix has been in business for nearly 20 years; the company was founded in the heart of Turku in 1992 to offer services to companies requiring professional and effective Swedish translations. While professional Swedish translations remain the core area of our business, we have since expanded our operations and range of translation languages. We have particularly increased our resources to meet the rapidly growing need for English translations.

Our guiding principle has always been to provide reliable, professionally-crafted translations that meet with the needs of our customers. Each translation is done or proofread by a translator whose native language is also the target language. At Scandix, three of our translators translate into Swedish, one into Finnish and one into English. Our experienced translation coordinator manages our office and maintains excellent communications with our broad network of co-operating partners, thereby enabling us to offer a wide range of language pairs while always ensuring a high standard of quality.

Scandix flexibly offers translation services that meet the needs of our customers. We carry out this exacting work in co-operation with our customers in order to ensure that we take the best advantage of all available assets – both the translator’s professional competence and the customer’s specialised expertise. Scandix is a small enough firm to enable us to offer individualised services, and sizeable enough to guarantee that even larger translation commissions can be turned around within the agreed timetable.
